Our owner is George Rao. He is an experienced drone pilot who holds his FAA Part 107 License. Before starting to work with drones, George was and is a very experienced photographer. He is now taking his talents to new heights with aerial photography, videography, photogrammetry and mapping.

What is Photogrammetry?
Photogrammetry is the process of creating a 3D model of a subject using high resolution photos of that subject and processing those photos through special software. Here at Wings Over America we use Different pieces of software to process the clients model and produce their desired deliverables. The use of high resolution photos allows the client to zoom into the image and perform visual inspections without the need to visit the site. Using WebODM or Pix4D, measurements can also be taken from the 3D model which is extremely useful to construction companies and Architecture firms wanting to verify critical dimensions
